Surgical and Cosmetic Recovery Therapy

Suppport healing ~ Reduce Discomfort ~ Enhance restoration

Why Post Surgical BODY CARE Matters

Your body undergoes significant stress during surgery. Post surgical massage and bodywork care is a gentle, specialized approach designed to support your recovery, improve outcomes and help you feel like yourself again - sooner. Post cosmetic surgical recovery care is a proactive step toward optimal healing, comfort and long term results.

Key Benefits:

Nervous System Regulation- Surgery activates your body’s stress response. Targeted massage techniques help shift your nervous system out of “fight or flight” and into a calm, restorative state - promoting deeper healing and improved overall well-being.

Lymphatic Support and Flushing - Work is performed with careful atention to surgical areas and techniques are applied with an informed understanding of lymphatic pathways to encourage the body’s natural processes without the use of manual lymphatic drainage. This approach helps stimulate the body’s natural lymphatic system assisting it’s ability to move fluid and waste effectively; encouraging healthy fluid movement, reduce feelings of congestion and heaviness, support immune function and tissue recovery and complement your body’s natural detoxification process.

Reduced Inflammation and Swelling- By supporting circulation and lymph flow, massage helps decrease post-operative swelling, bruising and discomfort and pressure.

Lowered Muscle Tension - Surgery often leads to guarding patterns and tightness especially if being in a fixed stationery position for a duration of time during your procedure. Massage helps to release surrounding muscle tension, improve mobility and flexibility and prevent compensatory pain patterns.

Improved Circulation and Healing - Enhanced blood and lymph flow delivers vital nutrients to tissues supporting faster recovery timelines, reduced scar tissue formation and healthier, more comfortable healing.

your session:

This specialized session is a restorative , results-focused treatment designed to support the body’s natural healing process following surgical and or cosmetic procedures. Using gentle targeted techniques, this treatment helps encourage healthy circulation, ease muscular tension and promote comfort during recover.

Diaphragmatic Breathing Support is incorporated into every session; guided breathing techniques encourage full deep breaths that increase oxygen flow to healing tissues, support natural lymphatic movement, reduce swelling and fluid retention and promote relaxation and pain reduction.

Care is taken to work respectfully around surgical areas while supporting surrounding tissues to reduce feelings of tightness, improve mobility and assist the body’s natural fluid movement. This service supports nervous system regulation and improved sleep quality helping to reinforce healthy circadium rhythm during the healing phase.

In addition to hands-on therapy, this treatment incorporates two Class II FDA cleared therapeutic medical devices - the Richway Biomat (a far infrared therapy mat that provides deep, soothing warmth to encourage a restorative state, systemic downregulation, therapeutic calming and comfort) and Celluma Pro Plus LED red light therapy to help support delivery of oxygen and nutrients to healing tissue, encourages more efficient tissue regeneration and repair and enhance cellular activity (ATP production).

FLOWPRESSO LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE SYSTEM

Flowpresso operates through a multi-chambered, full-body lymphatic drainage suit connected to a control unit. The suit covers the feet, legs, torso, and arms. Once a session begins, air chambers inflate and deflate in a controlled, sequential wave-like pattern moving from the extremities toward the core, mirroring the directional flow of the lymphatic system.

At the same time, the system applies gentle heat and sustained deep pressure as part of the integrated session experience. These three
elements work together in a coordinated way rather than independently, which distinguishes Flowpresso® from standard single-modality compression devices.

Compression Therapy

Sequential pneumatic compression is delivered through the full-body lymphatic compression suit. Air chambers inflate and deflate in a precise wave-like sequence, working with the body’s natural lymphatic pathways to encourage fluid movement from the extremities toward the core. This mechanism is similar in principle to a pressotherapy lymphatic drainage system, where rhythmic compression is used to support fluid movement and reduce stagnation. Unlike single-limb or standalone pressotherapy devices, Flowpresso applies this compression across the full body within a single session.

Deep Pressure Therapy

The system delivers a calming, sustained pressure across the body as part of the session experience. This element is designed to support a sense of physical calm during the session, drawing on the well-established connection between sustained, evenly distributed pressure and a relaxed physical state. Many people describe this aspect of the session as one of the most restorative parts of their Flowpresso experience.

Heat Therapy

Integrated thermotherapy delivers consistent gentle warmth throughout the session. The heat component is designed to contribute to physical comfort and a sense of ease during the session, complementing the compression rather than
functioning as a separate treatment layer. The warmth is applied as part of the overall session experience rather than as a targeted clinical intervention.

Benefits:

Circulation Comfort

The combination of compression and heat is intended to contribute to a sense of improved physical ease during a session.

Lymphatic Flow Support

By encouraging fluid movement through the lymphatic compression suit, the session is designed to support the body's natural lymphatic drainage process.

Relaxation Support

Deep pressure stimulation is designed to support a sense of calm during the session, which many people describe as one of the more restorative parts of their wellness routine.

YOUR SESSION:

A Flowpresso session takes place in a professional clinical setting under the supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. The person receiving the session wears the full-body lymphatic drainage suit, which is designed in a one-size-fits-all format with adjustable settings to accommodate different body types.

Once fitted, the practitioner initiates the session through the control unit. The compression sequence begins at the lower extremities and moves upward in a steady, wave-like rhythm. Gentle heat is maintained throughout. Most people describe the experience as deeply relaxing, with the rhythmic compression and warmth creating a grounding, calm sensation from start to finish.
